COVID-19 UPDATE

SAFETY FIRST

Exploring and visiting sacred sites ‘off the beaten track’ is an essential part of who we are at Himalayan Hermitage. The safety and wellbeing of our pilgrims come first, as well as that of the communities with whom we come into contact throughout our journeys. We have been working hard on keeping up-to-date on health and safety measures that make traveling with us in the era of COVID-19 possible, while keeping our trips immersive and memorable. When the time is right for you and the world around us we will be ready. And we will be thrilled to explore the Himalayan region with you again.

LOCAL EXPERTISE

We are consulting closely with our local partners in Nepal, Tibet and Bhutan to determine how to best navigate this new ‘normal’ in a wise and thoughtful manner. Our health and safety protocols consider the latest guidance and recommendations of local governments and the Corona Virus updates from World Nomads, the travel insurance provider that we recommend.

BOOKING POLICIES

As we prepare to start traveling again, we recognise that the situation at home and around the world is constantly changing, and that your travel plans – like ours – may need to be adjusted down the road. Himalayan Hermitage will be contacting all impacted pilgrims if any such changes will happen. If you have already registered for one of our upcoming journeys and we will need to cancel it due to COVID you will be able to either get a full refund or transfer your registration onto a future journey with us. For specific questions you may also reach out to us at the following numbers: +45 22502803 (Denmark) or +977 9813519458 (Nepal).
