Why Travel in This Day and Age?

Himalayan Hermitage believes that engaging with different cultures and exploring the living wisdom tradition of the Himalayan region can have an immense impact and offer insights that will stay with us for a long time. Possibly even change the course of our current lives, bringing benefit to ourselves, and then outward to others in our communities. However, we are also acutely aware of the environmental impact that travel has on our planet. For this reason, we are now shifting to a more green and environmental approach to our journeys, ensuring that we are providing:

• Carbon offsets on all aspects of travel on all of our journeys (flights, vehicles etc.)
• Carbon offsets for each individual traveler from when they leave their home to arriving at the starting point of the journey via our Airfair ‘add-on’ when booking the journey.
